Drosophila melanogaster
genome annotation Release 4.0
November 2004: Drosophila melanogaster genome update is available now
from FlyBase.
This release includes new dna sequence from release 3.
Find this data, blast search and gbrowse map views in the Annotation and Sequence section of FlyBase, including
pointers to bulk file releases.
This release does not yet include the following genome features:
BACs, Affy oligonucleotides,
cytology mapped features (deletions, inversions, etc.)
D.pseudoobscura syntenic features.
These still need to be mapped forwarded from release 3 chromosome locations.
A future update will include these.
